Named due to the fact that the breeches traditionally extended 4 inches below the knee, the “Plus 4” allowed greater freedom of movement than traditional full length trousers or knickerbockers, becoming popular from the 1860s onwards & typically associated with golf from the 1920s.

We have 4 such breeches, which can be mixed & matched with a variety of our loose-fit diamond knit tops with matching long socks, shirts, bow ties & 1920s peaked caps.

Add a tweed / herringbone print jacket in the cooler months, for an additional $10. Available in chest sizes 36-44.
