American artist Bob Ross brought his TV show, "The Joy of Painting" into living rooms across the US in the 1980s & early 90s, then across the world through Youtube in the new millenium, becoming somewhat of a retro cult hit amongst the next generation.

Why the crazy hair?  It was actually a perm - intended by Bob to save money on short-back-&-sides haircuts!
