• When family-oriented Disney bought the Star Wars franchise from Lucasfilm in 2012, they discontinued production of the Slave costume, concerned that parents would have difficulty explaining the chain around Leia's neck to their children.  Carrie Fischer thought Disney's decision was ridiculous.  "Tell [the kids] that a giant slug captured me and forced me to wear that stupid outfit, and then I killed him because I didn't like it."  Go girl!
