Instore vs. Online

Not every product on our website is stocked in our Crows Nest, Sydney Store. Each product is labelled as either Instore Only, Instore + Online or Online Only.

See below for what each label means:

Instore Only

These products are either oversized (eg. sombreros) or cannot be shipped (eg. aerosol hair sprays).

Available for instore purchase, Click & Collect, or Same Day (Sydney) Courier only. Not available for shipping.

Instore + Online

These products are stocked in our Crows Nest, Sydney store & can also be shipped Australia-wide. Need it for the weekend? Click & Collect, Same Day (Sydney) Courier, or order Express by 10am Wednesday.

If Warehouse Stock is displayed, you can order more than we currently have instore. Your order will then ship direct from our supplier warehouse.

Online Only

This product is shipped direct from one of our supplier warehouses & is NOT stocked in our Crows Nest (Sydney) store. Need it for the weekend? We recommend ordering Express by 10am Wednesday. Instore purchase, Click & Collect & Same Day (Sydney) Courier are NOT available.

Please note: Change-of-mind returns are not available for Online Only products.

Fast Delivery

For items stocked in our Crows Nest, Sydney store, Click & Collect & Same Day (Sydney) Courier are available.

For Australia-wide shipping, orders placed by 10am generally despatch the same business day. During peak periods such as Halloween week, despatch may be delayed by one business day.

Need it for the weekend? We recommend ordering Express by 10am Wednesday (allow an extra day during peak season).

Standard Shipping
• Sydney Metro: 2–3 business days
• Regional NSW: 2–4 business days
• Metro Australia (outside Sydney): 2–6 business days
• Regional Australia: 2–8 business days

Express Shipping
Express parcels are prioritised for delivery & generally arrive within 1–3 business days.

Free standard shipping on orders over $199.

Flat rate $13.95 Standard / $16.95 Express shipping on all other orders (excludes bulky items & Balloons).

Change-of-Mind Returns

We’re happy to offer a "no questions asked" store credit on change-of-mind returns for items purchased from our Crows Nest, Sydney store (excludes Costume Hire).

This excludes any purchase products shipped directly from our supplier warehouses. To be eligible for store credit, items must be:

• Returned within 14 days of purchase
• In their original, undamaged packaging, having not been used, worn or altered in any way
• Accompanied by an order number or itemised receipt

The following items are excluded from change-of-mind return:

• Products shipped directly from a supplier warehouse (not our Crows Nest store)
• Items sold without sealed packaging where prior use cannot reasonably be verified, including hats, masks & weapons
• Personal-use products where packaging has been opened, including wigs, eyelashes, contact lenses, beards, moustaches, hosiery, make-up & teeth
• Inflatable products where packaging has been opened
• Sale items

This policy applies to change-of-mind returns only & does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged Goods

If you have received a damaged, faulty or incorrect item, we're happy
to fix it up for you as quickly as possible. Please email
orders@fancythatcostumes.com.au within 7 days of receipt, with details
of the issue & your order number / itemised receipt.

Please note that sizing issues are not considered a product fault where the item matches the size chart displayed on our website. Returns due to incorrect size selection are subject to our Change-of-Mind-Returns Policy.
